Founded in 1903, by a group of esteemed scholars and connoisseurs of art including Roger Fry, Bernard Berenson and Herbert Horne, The Burlington Magazine is the world’s leading monthly journal on art history. We publish main articles and reviews on all periods of fine and decorative arts and have recently launched a new contemporary art platform: Burlington Contemporary.
